The museum
The House of Islamic Arts stands in Jeddah Park and is the first museum in the Kingdom dedicated exclusively to Islamic art. It was founded by the Saudi businessman Saleh bin Hamza Serafi.
The collection
More than a thousand pieces cover fifteen centuries of Islamic art, from China and India to Morocco and Andalusia. Its six galleries run from the first to the fourteenth century AH, with rare collections of ceramics, glass, metalwork and textiles.
