The palace
Khuzam Palace in Jeddah was built by order of King Abdulaziz between 1928 and 1932. In 1981 King Fahd ordered it turned into a museum, and the Jeddah Regional Museum opened there in March 1995.
The halls
Its halls include a Prehistoric Era hall, an Islamic hall, a Jeddah hall, and halls dedicated to King Abdulaziz and King Saud bin Abdulaziz.
Among the pieces are pottery more than five thousand years old, finds from Tayma dated to 550 BCE, gravestones from al-Mu'alla cemetery in Makkah, and a model of Nassif House in Historic Jeddah.
